Opening Day: April 16

A reminder that the 2022 Agua Linda Swimming season will start on April 16, 2022. Until then, the pool remains closed. Also, this year the work party to set-up the pool for the season is on Saturday, April 9, 2022; contact Kim (Facilities Maintenance officer), Carly (Groundskeeper), or Brian (Facilities Engineer) to find out what projects need help. Gate Guard Sign-ups are available.

Annual Meeting!

Dear Agua Linda Members,

I hope everyone is well and looking forward to a new swim season. Next Saturday, March 19, is our Annual Members Meeting, where we do the business of the Corporation and learn about what to expect in 2022. [Continued on the Members Only page]

President’s Letter

Dear Agua Linda Members,

Welcome to a new year at the Pool! We hope everyone is doing well in this difficult time and looking forward to an enjoyable summer of pool activities. The situation surrounding COVID-19 mitigation in Alameda County is rapidly changing, and we do not know what it will be for either the Annual Members’ Meeting in March or the Pool’s season opening in April. Agua Linda will continue to follow state and county guidance and recommendations, as nearly as we can interpret them. [Letter is continued in the Members Only section].

End of 2021 Swim Season

Hi Members,

The pool will be open this last weekend for the season. The last day of the season is Saturday October 23. Also snacks and sodas are on sale (25 cents each) so that we can clear our inventory. Please buy them up, perhaps as Halloween treats!

Labor Day Weekend

Dear Members,

As we look forward to a warm weekend, I would like to mention several things to keep in mind:

-The pool may be crowded at times. When it is, please refrain from activities that could interfere with other swimmers, such as using large rafts or other flotation toys, ball throwing across the whole length of the pool, excessive noise, splashing, and so on. Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment, and should be obeyed at all times.

-COVID protocols remain as they have been, in accordance with county guidance: observe social distancing as much as possible and wear face coverings when in the bathrooms.

-If you use one of the gas grills, be sure to clean the grate and turn the gas off when you are finished.
-No glass food or beverage containers should be brought to the pool. Broken glass is hard to clean up completely, and poses a danger when a lot of people, especially children, are present.

Let’s all have a fun and safe weekend!
