Agua Linda Swim Club is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic lifeguards to join our team for the upcoming season. Lifeguards

$17.50 - $18.50/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the pool to ensure the safety of all swimmers

  • Enforce pool rules and regulations

  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies

  • Ensure proper use of pool equipment and facilities

  • Report safety hazards and incidents

  • Removal of pool covers

  • Daily pool chemical check

  • Answer questions regarding pool rules and address member concerns and issues courteously

Qualifications:

  • Current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification

  • Current CPR Certification

  • Current First Aid Certification

  • Strong sense of responsibility, professional standards and commitment to ensuring the safety of our members

Experienced Lifeguards

$18.75 - $20.00/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

  • All duties of a Lifeguard, with additional mentorship to new staff

  • Assist in training sessions and share best practices

  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

  • At least one season of lifeguarding experience

  • Demonstrated reliability and strong performance in previous roles

  • Willingness to mentor and support new team members

  • Excellent communication and decision-making abilities

Head Lifeguard

$21.00 - $24.00/hour DOE and level of commitment

Responsibilities:

  • All duties of a Lifeguard, with additional mentorship to new staff

  • Train lifeguard staff on chemical checks, proper removal of pool covers, review of pool rules and timeclock use, tour of facility

  • Maintain lifeguard schedule, coordinate guard availability, post in Google Calendar, communicate any scheduling issues or gaps to management

  • Commitment to a regular schedule and hours

Qualifications:

  • Extensive lifeguarding experience with proven leadership skills

  • Advanced certifications (e.g., Lifeguard Management, Water Safety Instructor)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
